I’ve been looking at different brand collaborations for a while, and occasionally get contact by organisations asking me to review their products. My first brand collaboration is underway with Lands’ End Clothing and I’ve received two lovely coats to try out and review. The first coat I’ve got to try out is this women’s squall insulated waterproof coat in navy blue, but there are other colours you can choose from, and this women’s expedition down parka in purple (again, there are other colours available).

A Look at the Luxury Packaging

The two coats arrived from Evri last Friday well packaged in a sturdy box, once I opened it, I was surprised to find them inside a Lands’ End Clothing branded box complete with a navy blue ribbon and Lands’ End Clothing card. It is clear they are a high-end brand who care about the condition their items reach their customers in.

The Coats Themselves

The coats are of excellent quality, and I love the feel of them, they will be perfect for cold, chilly and bad weather days with the winter coming up. The women’s expedition down parka uses 600 fill-power down which promises winter warmth and comes with a waterproof shell that is seam-sealed and winter proof. It comes with chest pockets which are fleece lined that double up as handwarmer pockets, perfect in cold weather, and it even has inner cuffs to stop the cold from going up your sleeves.

The women’s squall insulated waterproof coat has cosy insulation throughout, as well as a soft fleece linking and inner cuffs. It also comes with numerous pockets to keep items safe and secure. These coats are designed for the harshest winter weather conditions, to keep the cold out and to keep you dry if it rains or snows.

Initial Rating and Review – Excellent

I am very impressed with these coats and the quality of the packaging they arrived in and look forward to reviewing them properly soon. I say soon because the UK has just come out of an unprecedented 30 degree plus heatwave, and although it is much cooler now, it still isn’t autumn or winter weather yet. As soon as it is though I will put these coats through their paces and post a more detailed review of them.
